Ghanaian defender Felix Amofa impresses Bayern Munich in pre-season games.
Accra Lions defender Felix Amofa has joined FC Bayern Munich’s U-19 side for pre-season ahead of the upcoming 2025/2026 Season.
The player was selected in FC Bayern’s World Squad, a project where Germany’s most successful club invites U19 players from across the world and accompanies them as they chase their dream of becoming a professional footballer.
The Ghanaian defender has so far featured in three friendly games for Bayern Munich against Viktoria Plzeň’s U19 team (3-0), Rapid Vienna’s U19 team (2-2), and Bayern Munich’s U19 team (3-1) under Former Bayern striker Roy Makaay, who oversaw the team as head coach.
The 18 year old is expected to sign a permanent contract with the club after his pre-season trials. He was instrumental for Accra Lions Football Club in the Ghanaian league last season where he made 13 appearances for the club.
