Ghanaian Premier League Side Kumasi Asante has signed a three-year contract with Bechem United defender Francais Acquah.
Francis Acquah is expected to join Kumasi Asante Kotoko ahead of the 2025/26 Season after spending four years with Bechem United. The 24-year-old defender signed a four-year contract with the Bechem-based club from Bekwai Heros in the 2020/21 season until the 2024/25 season, when he officially joined Kotoko.
Francis led Bechem United to a 9th place finish in the just-ended Ghana Premier League Season where he played in 26 games for his club and scored 1 goal. He is expected to be a great addition to Karim Zito in the Upcoming Season as the official announcement from the club is imminent.
The Porcupine Worriors have qualified and will play in the MTN FA Cup on Sunday against Golden Kicks FC for a place in next Season’s CAF Confederation Cup Competition. After a difficult season, Asante Kotoko managed a third-place finish in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League with 58 points.
