Diogo Jota dies in a tragic car accident

Liverpool Football Club player Diogo Jota has died in a car crash in Spain according to multiple reports gathered by flashghanaonline.com.
The Liverpool Star man was travelling in the same car with his 26-year-old brother Andre Silva who is also a footballer with Liga Portugal 2 side Panafiel where they met their untimely death at 12.30am local time (11.30pm BST) on the A-52 motorway in the municipality of Cernadilla, Zamora.
His current Club, Liverpool, released a statement confirming the death of their player. Jota began his professional career in 2014 with Portuguese side Pacos Ferreira before moving to Porto for just a season.
He later moved to England to play for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 2017/2018 season where he spent three seasons with Wolves. He was later transferred to Liverpool in 2020.
Diogo Jota has won several honours with the clubs he has played for including winning the EFL Championship with Wolves in the 2017-2018 season. He won the English Premier League with Liverpool in the 2024/25 season and the FA Cup and EFL Cup in the 2020-2021 season.
He made several appearances for the Portuguese National team and won the UEFA Nations League twice first in the 2018/2019 season and then 2024/25 season.
He was married with three kids.
