Kamaldeen Sulemana completes medicals ahead of Atalanta move

Ghanaian player Kamaldeen Sulemana has arrived in Bergamo for his medical ahead of his move to Italian club Atalanta.
The former Southampton player is expected to sign a four-year deal with Atalanta after the Saints agreed a 17.5 million euros transfer fee with the Italian side plus 4 million euros in add-ons.
The 23-year-old forward started his football career with Nordsjælland in the 2019/2020 season before moving to French Side Rennes. He later moved to Southampton in the 2022/23 Season where he spent three seasons with the English Club.
In the just-ended 2024/25 season, Kamaldeen Sulemana scored 1 goal and recorded 1 assist in 26 games as his side faced relegation after the season. Atalanta are set to play in the UEFA Champions League next season after finishing in 3rd place in the 2024/25 Italian Serie A.
The Italian club is expected to play a series of friendly games before the 2025/26 Serie A Season kicks off on August 28.
