Kumasi Asante Kotoko are in the race to sign Medeama Sporting Club’s defender Nurudeen Abdulai who has had an impressive stint since joining the Tarkwa-based side.
Asante Kotoko led by head Coach Karim Zito is looking to beef up its squad ahead of the 2025/26 Season after finishing in third place in the just-ended ended 2024/25 Ghana Premier League Season.
The Porcupine Worriors have identified 20-year-old Nurudeen Abdulai who has been a key player in Medeama’s defensive setup in the just ended Season. The player made 25 appearances for Medeama in the 2024/25 season scoring just one goal.
His defensive ability has been phenomenal as he has attracted interest from not only Asante Kotoko but other clubs like Accra Hearts of Oak. Kotoko are hoping to submit and official bid to Medeama Sporting Club in the coming days to land the signature of defender Nurudeen Abdulai.
