The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has officially announced a nationwide recruitment drive for two critical roles under its employment support initiativeCommunity Police Assistants and Fire Service Assistants. This call aims to offer Ghanaian youth a valuable opportunity to contribute to national development while gaining hands-on experience in law enforcement and emergency response.
The application process is set to begin on Thursday, June 5th, 2025, and interested candidates can submit their applications either online via the YEA recruitment portal at apply.yea.gov.gh or by visiting any YEA District Office across the country. This recruitment is part of YEA’s ongoing commitment to tackling youth unemployment by offering temporary but impactful work placements across various sectors.To qualify, applicants must be Ghanaian citizens aged between 18 and 35 years and must possess a valid Ghana Card. No prior experience in policing or firefighting is required, making this an accessible opportunity for many young people seeking to build a career or gain professional exposure. Selected individuals will serve a two-year term as beneficiaries under the YEA program, receiving training and placement within relevant institutions.The application window will close on Thursday, June 26th, 2025.
