Transport Minister announces plans to expand Terminal 2 of Kotoka International Airport

The Minister of Transport Mr. Joseph Nikoe Bukari has announced that plans are underway to expand Terminal 2 of the Kotoka International Airport in Ghana.
During a working visit to the Kotoka International Airport, the Transport t Minister announced that the Terminal 2 expansion is to decongest Terminal 3 and increase the airport capacity to manage the growing volumes of passengers and Cargo at the airport.
He also stated that the expanded Terminal 2 when completed will house both domestic and international airlines with two rolled-out operations to be put in place.
In recent years Terminal 3 of the Kotoka International Airport in Ghana has experienced passenger traffic as it is the only Terminal that serves international flights in the Airport.
According to Transport Minister Mr. Joseph Nikoe Bukari Terminal 2 is expected to improve experience of passengers and enhance efficiency of work in alignment with the NDC’s policy.
