NDC didn’t win the 2024 election; we gave them power – Dr. Bawumia
Flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party during the 2024 General Elections Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia has landed in the Greater Accra Region to continue his Thank you Tour after defeat in 2024.
Dr. Bawumia led the New Patriotic Party in the 2024 General Elections hoping to rule Ghana for the first time after serving as Vice President under then President Nana Akuffo Addo but his efforts proved futile as he lost to NDC’s Presidential Candidate John Dramani Mahama.
During his “Thank You Tour” in the Greater Accra Region, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia stated that the NDC did not win the 2024 General elections but it was the New Patriotic Party that conceded defeat and gave Power to the ruling NDC Government.
Dr. Bawumia is expected to complete his tour in Accra on Tuesday May 28 with a series of engagement with party executive and stakeholders as he has already visited 14 regions in the Country.
