Kwaku Manu applauds President Mahama for Cedi’s appreciation against the dollar
Veteran Kumawood Actor Kwaku Manu has showered words of appreciation on Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama for Stabilizing the economy during his second coming as President of the Republic of Ghana.
In a viral video posted on the Actirs Instagram handle, the Kumawood film-maker was seen applauding President Mahama for a massive job done just a few months into his tenure. He commended the president for taking actions to make sure that the Ghana cedis appreciated against the Cedi.
Kwaku Manu stated in his video that the appreciation of the cedis against the Dollar has lef to a massive reduction in plane tickets in the country. He also pleaded with the President to make laws that will see to it that individuals who insult prominent people in the country are being punished.
He noted that some prominent people in Ghana like the President, Otumfuor Osei Tutu, Mr Ibrahim Mahama and others need to be treated with the needed respect and hence there should be a law to punish people with insult these personalities.
